Steven Terrell, born on September 21, 1990, is a former American football player. He played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). Steven played college football at Texas A&M University. He also attended Allen High School in Texas. During his career, he played for teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tennessee Titans.

Growing Up and High School Football
Steven Terrell played high school football for the Allen High School Eagles. The Eagles won the 2008 5A Division I State Championship. This happened during his senior year. He was also named first-team All-State by the TSWA. The Associated Press also named him All-State. He received honorable mention Academic All-State and All-District honors. As a senior, he made 122 tackles. He also blocked five kicks and caught two interceptions.
College Football Career
Terrell was a four-year letterman for the Texas A&M Aggies. He played for them from 2009 to 2012. He played in 52 games during his college career. He started 24 of those games. He recorded 139 tackles, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles. He also had one fumble recovery for the Aggies. In 2012, his senior year, he was a team captain. Terrell was also named first-team Academic All-Big 12 and first-team Academic All-Southeastern Conference. He earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M. His degree was in Sports Management / Business Administration.
Professional Football Journey
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Terrell on April 29, 2013. This happened after he was not chosen in the 2013 NFL draft. The Jaguars later released him on August 30, 2013. He was then signed to the Jaguars' practice squad on September 4, 2013.
Houston Texans
Terrell signed with the Houston Texans on December 30, 2013. He was released by the Texans on May 14, 2014.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks signed Terrell on July 26, 2014. He was released by the Seahawks on August 30. He then joined the team's practice squad on August 31, 2014. He was moved to the main team on October 18, 2014. Terrell played when the Seahawks lost to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX.
Kansas City Chiefs
On July 6, 2017, Terrell signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was released on September 2, 2017. He then re-signed with them on September 9, 2017. He was placed on injured reserve on December 11, 2017. This happened after he got hurt while intercepting a pass from Derek Carr.
Tennessee Titans
