Stuart is a small village located in Holt County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2010, about 590 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 486.

History of Stuart, Nebraska

Stuart was founded in 1879. The village was named after Peter Stuart, who was the first person to manage the post office there. Stuart grew quickly after a train station was built in 1881 for the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad.
