Summerland Point is a cool waterfront suburb located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It sits on a piece of land that sticks out into Lake Macquarie, which is one of Australia's largest saltwater lakes! This area is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Triathlon Club Activities
The Central Coast Triathlon Club calls Summerland Point home. A triathlon is a race with three parts: swimming, cycling, and running. The club holds races here on the last Sunday of every month. It's a perfect spot for athletes to train and compete.

Summerland Point itself does not have any schools. However, most children living here go to nearby schools. These include Gwandalan Public School for younger students. Older students often attend Lake Munmorah High School.
Boating Fun on the Lake

Summerland Point has many useful shops and services. As of November 2017, you could find a variety of places to eat. There were Chinese, Thai, and pizza/Italian restaurants. Other shops included a post office and a hairdresser. You could also find a furniture store, a bakery cafe, and a real estate agent. There was a mower shop, a bottle shop, a fish and chip shop, a supermarket, and a service station. All these shops are close to the Boat Harbour, making them easy to walk to.
