Super Mario All-Stars facts for kids
Super Mario All-Stars is a fun video game made by Nintendo. It came out in 1993 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) console. This game is special because it's a remake of four older Super Mario games. It puts them all together in one package!

The Lost Levels was actually the original Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan. It was the first follow-up to the very first Super Mario Bros. game.

All these old games got a cool makeover for Super Mario All-Stars. They have brand new graphics that look much better. The sound was also improved, making the games sound even more exciting.
Later, in 1994, the game was re-released. This new version was called Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. It included all the games from Super Mario All-Stars plus the popular game Super Mario World.
25th Anniversary Edition
In 2010, Nintendo celebrated Mario's 25th birthday! To mark this special event, they released Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition. This version was made for the Nintendo Wii console.
This special edition included the original Super Mario All-Stars game. It also came with a cool book about Mario's history. Plus, there was a CD with music from the Super Mario game series.
