Susan Montgomery Williams (born around 1961 – died 2008) was an American who held a world record for blowing the biggest bubblegum bubble. In 1994, she set a Guinness World Record for blowing a bubble that was 23 in (58 cm) wide! That's almost two feet across!

Early Life and Talent

Susan Montgomery was born in National City, California. She grew up in the San Joaquin Valley. When she was a student at Roosevelt High School in Fresno, California, she found out she was really good at blowing bubblegum bubbles. She worked hard to make her bubble-blowing skills even better.

A World Record Bubble

In 1994, Susan Williams became famous for her amazing bubblegum-blowing talent. She set a Guinness World Record for blowing the largest bubble. This incredible bubble measured 23 in-wide (58 cm). Imagine a bubble bigger than your head!

Susan was also known for how loudly she could pop her gum. She believed she could make a louder pop than anyone else!

Becoming a TV Star

Susan Williams' unique talent took her all over the world. She appeared on television shows in many countries, including Spain, Germany, England, and Japan. In the United States, she was even a guest on famous talk shows like The Johnny Carson Show and The Jay Leno Show.

In July 1990, a magazine called Smithsonian featured an article about bubblegum. It included a photo of Susan blowing a huge 22 inches (56 cm) bubble. She even had a Myspace page called "ChewsySuzy." On her page, she shared a secret: she learned how to touch a bubble without popping it. She also found she could start a bubble by holding it with her fingers, away from her face.

Her Family

Susan married Joseph C. Williams Jr. They had two children together. Later, they decided to get a divorce.

Later Life

In September 2008, Susan Williams became very sick. She passed away on October 1, 2008, in Fresno, at the age of 47. She will always be remembered for her amazing bubblegum-blowing record.
