The Suwanee Half Marathon is a yearly running race held in Suwanee, Georgia. It's a "half marathon," which means it's about half the distance of a full marathon. This race is certified by USATF, a big sports organization in the USA.
The race started in 2015 and has happened every year since then. Runners get to see cool places like Suwanee Town Center and Suwanee Creek Greenway. The Suwanee Half Marathon is also a qualifying race for the famous Peachtree Road Race, which is the world's largest 10-kilometer race. Another shorter race, the Old Town 5K, happens right after the half marathon.
The Race Route
The Suwanee Half Marathon begins at the Suwanee City Hall. The path takes runners through different parts of Suwanee. It has both hilly parts and flat parts, making it an exciting challenge.
