Robert Tyrell "T. J." Cummings Jr. (born August 31, 1981) is an American former basketball player. He played as a power forward or small forward. T. J. is the son of former NBA player Terry Cummings. He went to Homewood-Flossmoor High School before playing college basketball for the UCLA Bruins.

Early Life and High School Years
T. J. Cummings grew up in Homewood, Illinois. He attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, Illinois. During his time there, he was a talented basketball player. He even participated in special events like the Nike Hoop Summit in 2000.
College Basketball Career
T. J. Cummings played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. He was a key player for the team for four years, from 2000 to 2004. He improved his game each season. By his senior year (2003–04), he was averaging nearly 13 points per game.

Professional Basketball Journey
After college, T. J. Cummings began his professional basketball career. He was drafted by the Albuquerque Thunderbirds in 2005. In his first year, he played very well. He averaged 12.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. On April 22, 2006, his team, the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, won the NBDL Championship. They beat the Fort Worth Flyers with a score of 119–108.
After his time with the Thunderbirds, Cummings played for many different teams. He played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders in 2007. He also played internationally in various countries. His career took him to teams like Anyang KGC in South Korea and Liège Basket in Belgium. He also played for several teams in Japan, including the Oita Heat Devils and Sendai 89ERS. His professional career lasted until 2015.
