Meet T. J. Cummings, a former American basketball player! His full name is Robert Tyrell Cummings Jr. He was born on August 31, 1981. T. J.'s dad, Terry Cummings, was also a famous NBA player.
T. J. went to Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Illinois. After high school, he played college basketball for four years. He was part of the UCLA Bruins team from 2000 to 2004.
After college, T. J. was chosen by the Albuquerque Thunderbirds in the 2005 NBDL draft. This was a big step in his basketball career! In his first year, he played really well. He scored about 12.6 points and grabbed 6.4 rebounds per game. His team, the Thunderbirds, even won the NBDL Championship on April 22, 2006! They beat the Fort Worth Flyers with a score of 119–108.
Later, in the 2006–2007 season, T. J. joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders. He continued to play basketball professionally for many years.
