Tadamori Ōshima (Japanese: 大島 理森, Hepburn: Ōshima Tadamori, born September 6, 1946) is a well-known Japanese politician. He served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan from 2015 to 2021. The Speaker is like the leader of one part of Japan's parliament. He was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, which is a major political group in Japan.

Before becoming Speaker, he held other important jobs. He was the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This role involves managing farming, forests, and fishing in Japan. He also served as the Minister of Education. This job focuses on schools, culture, sports, and science for the country.

Tadamori Ōshima was born in Hachinohe, Aomori, a city in Japan. He went to Keio University, which is a famous university. After finishing his studies, he worked at a national newspaper called Mainichi Shimbun from 1970 to 1974.

His political career began in 1975. He was first elected to the Aomori Prefectural Assembly. This is a local government group for the Aomori area. Later, in 1983, he was elected to the House of Representatives. This is one of the two parts of Japan's national parliament. He had tried to get elected in 1980 but was not successful that time.

After a long career in politics, Tadamori Ōshima took on a new role. In January 2023, he was chosen to be a member of the Yokozuna Deliberation Council. This council helps decide who gets the highest rank in sumo wrestling, which is a very important sport in Japan.
