Tadayo Fukuo (福王 忠世, Fukuō Tadayo, born May 6, 1984) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender, helping to protect his team's goal. He spent his career playing for several clubs in Japan and also represented his country in youth tournaments.

Tadayo Fukuo's Football Journey

Tadayo Fukuo was born in Nishinomiya, Japan, on May 6, 1984. He started his football journey with the youth team of Cerezo Osaka. In 2003, he joined their senior team. However, he did not get to play in any official matches for them.

Playing for Roasso Kumamoto

In 2005, Tadayo moved to a club called Rosso Kumamoto. At that time, the club was playing in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower-level leagues. He became a key player for them, usually playing as a center back. A center back is a defender who plays in the middle of the defense.

His team, Rosso Kumamoto, did very well. They were promoted to the Japan Football League in 2006. This was a step up in Japanese football. Then, in 2008, they were promoted again to the J2 League. This meant they were now playing in one of Japan's professional football leagues. Tadayo was a regular player for the team until 2010. After that, he played less often.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2014, Tadayo Fukuo moved to another club called Gainare Tottori, which played in the J3 League. The J3 League is another professional league in Japan. The next year, in 2015, he joined Fujieda MYFC. He continued to play for this team until the end of the 2017 season. After that, Tadayo Fukuo decided to retire from professional football.

Representing Japan

Tadayo Fukuo also had the chance to play for his country. In September 2001, he was chosen to be part of the Japan U-17 national team. This team played in the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship. This is a big international tournament for young football players from all over the world. Tadayo played in all three matches for Japan in that tournament, playing the full game each time.
