Tahjere McCall (born August 17, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for Lokomotiv Kuban in the VTB United League. Tahjere played college basketball for the Niagara Purple Eagles and Tennessee State Tigers.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Tahjere McCall was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father works as a train engineer. His mother helps people who are recovering from addiction.
Tahjere went to Carver High School. He did not play basketball there until his junior year. He was planning to play for a smaller college team. But then, Niagara University offered him a scholarship. This was a great chance for him to play at a higher level.
College Basketball Career
McCall started his college basketball journey with the Niagara Purple Eagles. He was a starter in his first year, the 2012–13 season. In his second year, he played less. Because of this, he decided to transfer to another team.
He then joined the Tennessee State Tigers. A coach named Dana Ford found him through a recommendation. Tahjere played very well at Tennessee State. He was named the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Defensive Player of the Year twice. He also earned All-OVC honors in both his seasons there. This means he was one of the best players in the conference.

After college, Tahjere McCall was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft. This is called going "undrafted." However, he still got a chance to play. He joined the Brooklyn Nets for their summer games. He also went to their training camp.
He then played two seasons with the Long Island Nets. This team is part of the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA. In February 2019, he signed a short 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets. After that, he went back to the Long Island Nets.
In 2019, McCall joined the College Park Skyhawks. This team is linked to the Atlanta Hawks. He had some amazing games there. In one game, he scored 28 points, grabbed six rebounds, and made five assists. He also had two "triple-doubles." A triple-double is when a player gets 10 or more in three different stats, like points, rebounds, and assists, in one game. He averaged 12.7 points, 4.7 assists, and 6.1 rebounds per game.
In January 2021, the Lakeland Magic picked him in the NBA G League draft. He averaged 11.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists that season. The Lakeland Magic won the NBA G League championship in 2021. Tahjere was also named to the NBA G League All-Defensive Team.
After his time in the G League, McCall played for teams around the world.

- In August 2021, he joined the Cairns Taipans in Australia. He played with them for several seasons.
- In April 2022, he played for the Otago Nuggets in New Zealand. He left in June for an NBA summer training camp.
- After the 2022–23 season, he played for Fos Provence Basket in France.
- In December 2023, he had a great game with 19 points and 15 assists for the Taipans.
- After the 2023–24 season, he joined Hapoel Holon in Israel.
- In November 2024, McCall signed with the Guangzhou Loong Lions in China.
- In February 2025, he joined Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia, where he plays now.
Personal Life
Tahjere McCall became a father in October 2023 when his first child was born.
