Takayuki Chano (茶野 隆行, Chano Takayuki, born 23 November 1976) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Chano was also a member of the Japan national team.

Takayuki Chano's Club Career
Takayuki Chano was born in Ichikawa, Japan, on November 23, 1976. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey. In 1995, he joined his hometown club, JEF United Ichihara. This club later became known as JEF United Chiba.
Playing as a Defender
From 1998, Chano became a key player for JEF United Ichihara. He played many games as a center back, which is a defensive position. During his time there, the club achieved some great results. They finished second in the 1998 Emperor's Cup. They also came in third place in the J1 League in both 2001 and 2003.
Moving to Júbilo Iwata
In 2005, Chano moved to another club called Júbilo Iwata. His teammate, Shinji Murai, also joined him there. At Júbilo Iwata, Chano continued to play as a strong center back. He often played alongside Makoto Tanaka, who was also a player for the Japan national team.
Returning to JEF United
Chano stayed with Júbilo Iwata until the end of the 2009 season. After that, he and Murai returned to JEF United Chiba in 2010. He played for two more seasons before deciding to retire from professional football at the end of 2011.
Takayuki Chano's National Team Career
Takayuki Chano also had the honor of playing for his country. He made his first appearance for the Japan national team on April 25, 2004. This match was against the Hungary national team.
