He wrote many popular songs for well-known Greek singers. Sometimes, he used different names, called pseudonyms, for his work, such as Antonis Zannas and Nikos Michael.

Growing Up and Finding Music
Takis Mousafiris was born in 1936 in a city called Ioannina, in Greece. He later moved to Athens, another big city in Greece. He loved both places very much. His parents came from villages with a special culture called Aromanian. Takis shared that traditional Aromanian music really inspired him. Both his mom and dad also played musical instruments.
His Music and Collaborations
Takis Mousafiris was very talented at creating music, writing song lyrics, and putting them together into songs. He worked with many famous Greek singers. Some of these singers included Stratos Dionysiou, Dimitris Mitropanos, Rita Sakellariou, and Tolis Voskopoulos. His songs became very popular and are still loved by many people in Greece.
His Final Years
Takis Mousafiris passed away on March 11, 2021, when he was 84 years old. He had been dealing with an illness for about six months. Before he passed away, he had also recovered from COVID-19. He was buried on March 13 in his hometown, Ioannina.
