Takis Mousafiris was born in 1936 in a city called Ioannina, in Greece. He later moved to Athens, another big city in Greece. He loved both places very much. His parents came from villages with a special culture called Aromanian. Takis shared that traditional Aromanian music really inspired him. Both his mom and dad also played musical instruments.

Takis Mousafiris was very talented at creating music, writing song lyrics, and putting them together into songs. He worked with many famous Greek singers.
