Takuya Honda (本田 拓也, Honda Takuya, born 17 April 1985) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a midfielder. Takuya Honda was born on April 17, 1985, in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan. He is 1.77 meters (about 5 feet 10 inches) tall. He has played for several teams in Japan.

Playing for Clubs
Takuya Honda started his football journey in school. He played for Toko Gakuen High School. After that, he went to Hosei University. He played football there from 2004 to 2007.
Early Career
In 2008, Takuya Honda joined Shimizu S-Pulse. This was his first professional club. He played as a midfielder for them. He stayed with Shimizu S-Pulse for three years.
Moving to New Teams
