Tanya Burr (born 9 June 1989) is an English YouTuber and actress. She started sharing makeup and fashion videos on her YouTube channel in 2009. Later, in 2017, Tanya began acting. She has appeared in TV shows like Bulletproof and Holby City. She also acted in the 2021 movie Twist.

Early Life and Education
Tanya Burr grew up in Norwich, Norfolk, England. She went to Long Stratton High School. After that, she studied at Notre Dame sixth form. Tanya then trained to become a makeup artist. She worked at the beauty counter in Jarrold's department store in Norwich.
Tanya's Career Journey
Starting on YouTube
In 2009, while working at Jarrold's, Tanya got an idea from her sister-in-law, Samantha Chapman. Samantha was also a makeup artist. Tanya decided to create her own YouTube channel. Two years later, she left her job to focus completely on her YouTube videos.
Her first videos showed people how to do makeup like celebrities. Over time, she started making videos about fashion, style, and even baking. Tanya has worked with many other famous YouTubers. These include Zoe Sugg, Louise Pentland, Alfie Deyes, Tyler Oakley, and Joe Sugg. She was featured on the cover of Glamour UK in December 2015. She also appeared on the cover of Stylist in November 2016.
Becoming an Actress
Tanya Burr started her acting career in 2017. Her first role was in a short film called Disconnect. She also had a small part in the Sky TV series Bulletproof. In May 2018, Tanya performed on stage for the first time. She played the main character, Ella, in a play called Confidence.
In 2019, Tanya starred in the movie Hurt by Paradise. She played the role of Maud. This movie was shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival in June 2019. Later that year, Tanya appeared in the BBC medical show Holby City.
Other Projects and Books
In 2014, Tanya launched her own makeup brand. It was called Tanya Burr Cosmetics. You could find her products at the British store Superdrug. The brand stopped making products in 2018.
Tanya has also written three books. Her first book, Love, Tanya, came out in January 2015. It shared tips on beauty, making videos, and baking. In June 2016, she released a cookbook called Tanya Bakes. Her third book, Tanya's Christmas, was published in October 2017.
Personal Life
Tanya Burr met fellow YouTuber Jim Chapman in 2007. They got engaged in December 2012. They married on 3 September 2015, at Babington House in Somerset. They shared the happy news on their social media pages a few days later. On 12 March 2019, Tanya announced on Instagram that she and Jim had decided to split up.
On 14 June 2022, Tanya shared on Instagram that she was expecting her first child with her partner, Dan. Their son was born in October 2022.
