Taos Pueblo is a special place in New Mexico, United States. It is a census-designated place (CDP) located just north of the town of Taos. In 2020, about 1,196 people lived there.

Taos Pueblo is famous for its ancient buildings. It is the only Native American community that is both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. This means it's recognized as super important globally and in the U.S.

The multi-storied adobe buildings at Taos Pueblo are very old. People have lived in them for more than 1,000 years! These buildings are made from earth and straw, which helps keep them cool in summer and warm in winter.
