Taos Pueblo is a special place in New Mexico, United States. It is a census-designated place (CDP) located just north of the town of Taos. In 2020, about 1,196 people lived there.
Taos Pueblo is famous for its ancient buildings. It is the only Native American community that is both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. This means it's recognized as super important globally and in the U.S.

In 2000, there were 1,264 people living in Taos Pueblo. Most of the people living here are Native American. A small number of people are White or from other backgrounds. Some people are also Hispanic or Latino.
