Tariff is located along County Route 27. This road helps connect Tariff to other places in the area. It is also found near a stream called the Henry Fork. Tariff is about 12 miles (which is about 19 kilometers) southeast of a bigger town called Spencer.
History of Tariff's Post Office
For many years, Tariff had its own post office. This post office opened a long time ago, on February 10, 1890. It helped people send and receive mail for over a hundred years. The post office in Tariff finally closed its doors on October 1, 2005.
