Joseph Michael Santolini (born December 1, 1987), known by his stage name Tatianna, is an American drag queen, musician, and TV star. She is from Washington, D.C.. Tatianna became well-known after appearing on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race. She later returned for the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. In 2018, she released her first album, called T1.

Early Life and Education
Joseph Michael Santolini was born on December 1, 1987, in Arlington, Virginia. His family background includes both Italian and African American heritage. He first went to Yorktown High School. After his first year, he moved to Falls Church High School. This move happened because he was experiencing bullying.
After finishing high school in 2006, he earned a license in cosmetology. This means he learned how to do hair and makeup. Tatianna started dressing as a girl when she was fourteen. Sometimes, she even went to school in drag. She began performing drag professionally in 2007. Her very first show was at Apex, a gay bar in Washington D.C.. Before being cast, she had applied for the first season of Drag Race but was not chosen then.
Career Highlights
Tatianna was announced as one of twelve contestants for the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race in November 2009. This show is a competition for drag performers. During the competition, she won the first-ever "Snatch Game" challenge. In this challenge, contestants impersonate famous people. Tatianna played Britney Spears in episode four. She finished in fourth place overall in the competition.
Six years later, Tatianna was chosen for the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars. This was announced on June 17, 2016. She did very well in the first episode. She was one of the top two performers. She returned in episode five and won $5,000 with Alyssa Edwards. This happened after a special "double-save" lip sync performance. She finished the season in sixth place.
Outside of Drag Race, Tatianna hosted her own web show. It was on WOWpresents and was called Tea With Tati. This show started in April 2018. On June 18, 2018, she also announced a new perfume. It was called Choices and was made by Xyrena.
Tatianna has also performed with famous musicians. On October 13, 2018, she performed live with Charli XCX. They sang a duet of Charli's song "1999". She also appeared in a music video for Taylor Swift's song "You Need to Calm Down". In the video, released on June 17, 2019, Tatianna played Ariana Grande. Later, on August 26, 2019, Tatianna performed with Taylor Swift again. This was during Swift's performance at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
In June 2023, for Pride Month, Tatianna partnered with McDonald's. This partnership was with the Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Eastern Shore branches.
Music Releases
Tatianna started releasing her own music in 2010. Her first single, "True," came out on November 8, 2010. A second song, "Touch," was released on May 6, 2011. Her third single, "Losing Control," followed on August 14, 2012.
After a break, Tatianna released "The Same Parts" on September 1, 2016. She performed this song on the first episode of All Stars 2. Her fifth single, "Transform," was released on October 26, 2016. She then released "Use Me" on November 28, 2017. This song also had an official music video released on the same day.
Her first full album, "T1," came out on May 28, 2018. It has eleven songs. The album features other artists like rapper Cazwell and drag queen Salvadora Dali. A music video for the song "CYA" was released on August 30, 2018.
