Joseph Michael Santolini (born December 1, 1987), known as Tatianna, is an American drag queen, musician, and TV personality. A drag queen is an entertainer, usually a man, who dresses in women's clothing and often acts in an exaggerated feminine way for performances. Tatianna is from Washington, D.C..
She became well-known after appearing on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race. She also competed on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. In 2018, Tatianna released her first album, called T1.

Early Life and School
Joseph Michael Santolini was born on December 1, 1987, in Arlington, Virginia. His family background includes both Italian and African American heritage.
He first went to Yorktown High School. After his first year, he moved to Falls Church High School because of bullying. He finished high school in 2006.
After graduating, he earned a license in cosmetology, which is the study of hair, makeup, and skin care. He started dressing as a girl when he was fourteen. Sometimes, he even went to school in drag.
Tatianna began performing drag professionally in 2007. Her very first show was at Apex, a gay bar in Washington D.C.. She tried out for the first season of Drag Race but was not chosen at that time.
When the cast for Drag Race was announced, she was living in Falls Church with her grandparents. She worked at a hair salon in Arlington. Her mother and stepfather were living in Florida at the time.
Tatianna's Career
In November 2009, Tatianna was announced as one of twelve contestants for the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race. During the show, she won the first "Snatch Game" challenge. She played Britney Spears in that episode.
She finished in fourth place in the competition. She was eliminated after a lip sync performance of Aretha Franklin's "Something He Can Feel".
Six years later, on June 17, 2016, Tatianna was chosen for the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars. She was one of ten contestants. In the first episode, she was in the top two but lost a lip sync to Roxxxy Andrews.
She was eliminated in the next episode by Alaska after doing poorly in her second "Snatch Game" as Ariana Grande. She returned in episode five and won $5,000 with Alyssa Edwards. This happened after they both won a lip sync to Rihanna's "Shut Up and Drive".
However, she was eliminated again by Alaska in the following episode. She finished in sixth place overall.
Outside of Drag Race, Tatianna hosted her own web show called Tea With Tati. It started in April 2018 on WOWpresents. On June 18, 2018, she announced a new perfume called Choices, made by Xyrena.
Tatianna performed live with Charli XCX on October 13, 2018. They sang a duet of Charli's song "1999".
She played Ariana Grande in the music video for Taylor Swift's song "You Need to Calm Down". This video was released on June 17, 2019.
On August 26, 2019, Tatianna performed with Taylor Swift at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
In June 2023, for Pride Month, she announced a partnership with McDonald's. This partnership was with the McDonald's branches in Washington D.C., Baltimore, and the Eastern Shore.
Tatianna's Music
Tatianna released her first song, "True," on November 8, 2010. Her second song, "Touch," came out on May 6, 2011. "Losing Control," her third song, was released on August 14, 2012.
After four years, Tatianna released "The Same Parts" on September 1, 2016. She performed this song as a spoken word version on the first episode of All Stars 2. Her fifth song, "Transform," was released on October 26, 2016.
She released "Use Me" on November 28, 2017. An official music video for "Use Me" was released on the same day. Tatianna released her first album, "T1," on May 28, 2018. This album has eleven songs. Rapper Cazwell and drag queen Salvadora Dali are featured on the album. A video for the song "CYA" was released on August 30, 2018.
