Taxisco is a town and a municipality in the Santa Rosa department of Guatemala. It is located very close to the Pacific Ocean.
Taxisco is famous for being the birthplace of Juan José Arévalo. He was a very important person who served as the President of Guatemala from 1945 to 1951. Being president means he was the leader of the country.
