Edward James "Ted" Hodgson was born on June 30, 1945. He is a Canadian former ice hockey player. Ted played as a forward, usually on the right wing.

He played a few games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Boston Bruins. This was during the 1966–67 hockey season. Ted also played in another big league called the World Hockey Association (WHA). He played 107 games for the Cleveland Crusaders and Los Angeles Sharks between 1972 and 1974. Most of his hockey career, from 1965 to 1977, was spent playing in other professional leagues.

Ted was born in Maskwacis, Alberta, Canada. Later in his life, in 1996, he moved to England. There, he married Margret Julianne, who was from France.

Ted Hodgson's Hockey Journey

Ted Hodgson's career in ice hockey began in 1965. He played for many different teams over 12 years. His journey took him through several leagues in North America.

Playing in the NHL and WHA

Ted played a small number of games in the NHL. This is the top professional hockey league. He was part of the Boston Bruins team for a short time.

Later, he joined the World Hockey Association (WHA). This was another major league at the time. He played for the Cleveland Crusaders and the Los Angeles Sharks in the WHA.

Time in Other Leagues

Before and after his time in the NHL and WHA, Ted played in many other leagues. These included the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the Central Professional Hockey League (CHL). He also played in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Some of the teams he played for were the Estevan Bruins and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. He also played for the Oklahoma City Blazers for several seasons. These leagues helped him develop his skills as a player.

Life After Hockey

After his hockey career ended in 1977, Ted Hodgson moved to England in 1996. He started a new chapter of his life there. He married Margret Julianne, who was originally from France.
