Telfes (officially Telfes im Stubai) is a lovely village in the Tyrol region of Austria. It is part of the Innsbruck Land area. You can find it in the beautiful Stubaital valley, about 11 kilometers (7 miles) south of the city of Innsbruck.

Telfes is located 987 meters (3,238 feet) above sea level. It covers an area of about 27.38 square kilometers (10.57 square miles). The village is made up of several smaller areas. These include Telfes, Gagers, Kapfers, Plöven, and Luimes.

Telfes is found in the front part of the Stubaital valley. It sits on the sunny left side of the Ruetz river. The village is nestled among mountains, making it a great place for outdoor activities.
