Tembi Locke is an American actress who has appeared in many television shows and movies. She is well-known for her roles as Dr. Grace Monroe in the TV series Eureka and as Dr. Diana Davis in Sliders. Tembi Locke is also a successful author. Her book, From Scratch, became a bestseller and was later made into a TV show by Netflix.

About Tembi Locke's Life

Tembi Locke's parents were civil rights activists, who worked to make sure everyone had equal rights. She went to Alief Hastings High School in Houston. After high school, Tembi lived in Italy for a while as part of a student exchange program. While she was there, she even appeared on Italian television shows, including Carnevale Di Venezia. When she returned to the United States, she studied art history and graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Tembi Locke was married to Rosario "Saro" Gullo, who was a chef from Sicily, Italy. They lived and worked in Los Angeles, California. Sadly, Saro passed away in 2012. Tembi later met Robert in 2016, and they got married in 2020.

Tembi Locke's Acting Career

Tembi Locke started her acting career in New York. She performed in several plays and got a role on the long-running TV soap opera As The World Turns. After that, she moved to Los Angeles. One of her first big TV roles was playing a love interest for Will Smith on the popular show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Tembi Locke has acted in many different types of TV shows and movies. She played Dr. Grace Monroe, a science expert, in seasons four and five of the Syfy series EUReKA from 2010 to 2012. She also starred as Dr. Diana Davis in season five of the show Sliders from 1999 to 2000.

You might have seen Tembi Locke in other TV dramas like Castle, Bones, The Mentalist, and CSI: NY. She has also appeared in comedies such as Friends, The Jamie Foxx Show, and House of Payne. Tembi Locke's Book

Tembi Locke wrote a book called From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily and Finding Home. It was published on April 30, 2019. The book tells the story of her romance with her Italian husband and how she dealt with her grief after he passed away. The book was so popular that it was turned into a limited TV series for Netflix. Famous producer Reese Witherspoon helped bring the story to the screen.
