Tequan Richmond (born October 30, 1992), also known as T-Rich, is an American actor. He is famous for playing Drew Rock on the TV show Everybody Hates Chris. Tequan also played Ray Charles Jr. in the movie Ray. Later, he joined the cast of the soap opera General Hospital as TJ Ashford.

Tequan Richmond's Acting Career
Starting in Los Angeles
In 2001, Tequan Richmond moved to Los Angeles, California. He did not plan to become an actor at first. He started by appearing in many magazine ads. These included Sports Illustrated, Reader's Digest, and National Geographic. He also appeared in a national ad for Nestlé.
Big Roles in Movies and TV
Tequan made his first big movie appearance at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. He played Lee Boyd Malvo in the movie Blue Caprice. This film was later shown at the New Directors/New Films Festival. It was released in theaters in the fall of 2013.
Tequan was also one of six hosts for children's TV shows on Toon Disney. He has appeared as a guest star on many popular TV shows. These include CBS's Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Private Practice. He also appeared on Detroit 1-8-7, Memphis Beat, Love That Girl, and Numb3rs.
He also had roles on Lifetime's Strong Medicine and FX's The Shield. Tequan co-starred on NBC's ER, Showtime's Weeds, and Fox's MADtv.
Other Appearances
While starring on Everybody Hates Chris, Tequan appeared in a commercial for the Tide laundry soap. This commercial featured a voice-over by the rapper MC Lyte. Tequan also appeared in the music video for the song "Hate It Or Love It". In the video, he played a young version of the rapper The Game. The song also featured 50 Cent.
