Terrance Michael Drew was born on November 22, 1976. He is a doctor and a politician from Saint Kitts. He is currently the fourth prime minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis. He was chosen for this important role after the election on August 5, 2022.

Early Life and Education
Terrance Drew's parents are Ras Gerzel Pet Mills and Michael ‘Mic Stokes’ Heyliger. He finished his studies at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in 1996. When he was 19 years old, he worked as a part-time teacher at the Basseterre High School.
In 1998, he traveled to Cuba to study medicine. He graduated from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara in Santa Clara. After finishing his medical studies, Dr. Drew returned to Saint Kitts. There, he worked as a general doctor, helping people with their health. Later, he went to Texas in the United States to study internal medicine. He completed this advanced training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2013.
His Journey in Politics
Dr. Drew became the leader of the Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party on November 28, 2021. He won this position by getting 45% of the votes at the party's local meeting.
After the general election on August 5, 2022, Terrance Drew became the Prime Minister. His government, known as the Drew ministry, officially started on August 15, 2022. As Prime Minister, he also kept the job of Minister of Finance. This means he is in charge of the country's money matters.
What Has He Done as Prime Minister?
In November 2022, Prime Minister Drew spoke at a conference about Bitcoin Cash. He said that Bitcoin Cash (BCH) might become a type of official money in Saint Kitts and Nevis by March 2023. This would mean people could use it to pay for things.
In 2023, after King Charles III became king, Prime Minister Drew talked about Saint Kitts and Nevis becoming a republic. A republic is a country that does not have a king or queen as its head of state. He said his government would ask the public what they thought about this big change for the country.
