Terry Gill's Acting Career

Terry Gill had many memorable roles on Australian television. He was a regular in the popular women's prison drama Prisoner, where he played Detective Inspector Jack Grace. He also starred as Sergeant Jack Carruthers in The Flying Doctors, a show about doctors who travel by plane to help people in remote areas. Another important role was Superintendent Clive Adamson in Blue Heelers, a police drama. He even made a guest appearance in the long-running soap opera Neighbours.

One of his most famous movie roles was in Crocodile Dundee. He played Duffy, the leader of a group of kangaroo hunters. In a funny scene, his character gets into a fight with Dundee in a bar.

For 27 years, Terry Gill brought joy to many by playing Santa Claus on Australian TV's annual Carols by Candlelight. This was a special Christmas event where people sang carols.
