Success with Toyo Industries
Toyo Industries was a very strong team during Nimura's time there. They won the Japan Soccer League championship four times! These wins were in 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1970. They also won the Emperor's Cup twice, in 1967 and 1969. This period was known as the best time in Toyo Industries' history.
Nimura played for Toyo Industries until 1976, when he decided to retire as a player. He played in 151 league games and scored 16 goals for the club.
Playing for Japan: National Team Career

His first game for Japan was on December 10, 1970, against the Malaysian team. He played a total of 5 games for Japan in that year.
Becoming a Coach: Managerial Career
After he stopped playing football, Nimura decided to become a coach. In 1981, he became the manager for Mazda. This was the same club he played for, but it had changed its name from Toyo Industries to Mazda. He took over from another famous player, Aritatsu Ogi.
Challenges as a Manager
However, the 1983 season was tough for the club. Under Nimura's management, Mazda finished in last place in the league. This meant the team was moved down to Division 2, which was the first time that had happened. Because of this, Nimura resigned at the end of the 1983 season.
