Texaco Cup facts for kids
The Texaco Cup was a special football competition played in England and Scotland during the 1970s. It was a chance for teams from both countries to compete against each other in a friendly tournament.
Who Won the Texaco Cup?
Most of the final matches in the Texaco Cup were played over two games, called "legs." This means each team played one game at home and one game away. The "aggregate score" was the total score from both games combined. For example, if Team A won the first game 2-1 and Team B won the second game 1-0, the aggregate score would be 2-2. The 1973-74 final was different, as it was only one game.
