Thannenkirch is a small town located in eastern France. It is part of the Haut-Rhin department. This charming commune is known for its beautiful natural surroundings.

Thannenkirch is found in the foothills of the Taennchel Massif. It sits at an altitude of about 468 meters (1,535 feet) above sea level. The village is surrounded by lovely landscapes.

Thannenkirch is quite close to several other interesting places. It is only about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from Ribeauvillé. The larger town of Sélestat is about 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) away. Colmar is a bit further, around 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) from Thannenkirch.
