The Barbarian and the Troll is a fun American puppet comedy TV show. It was created by Mike Mitchell and Drew Massey. The show first aired on Nickelodeon on April 2, 2021. It was originally called Brendar the Barbarian.
What's the Show About?
The story takes place in a magical land called Gothmoria. Here, we meet Brendar, a brave warrior princess. She is on a big adventure to get revenge for an attack on her family. Along the way, Brendar meets Evan, a lively bridge troll. Evan loves music and wants to become a famous bard.
They decide to team up! Together, they work to save their kingdom. They also help each other make their dreams come true.
Who Are the Characters?
- Spencer Grammer is the voice of Brendar. She is a barbarian warrior. Brendar wants to defeat the demon that hurt her family.
- Drew Massey is the voice of Evan. He is a troll prince. Evan joins Brendar's quest. He wants to follow his dream of becoming a bard, which is a storyteller and musician.
Other talented people who voice characters in the show include Colleen Smith, Allan Trautman, Sarah Sarang Oh, Peggy Etra, James Murray, Nicolette Santino, Jeny Cassady, and Gina Yashere. Phil LaMarr also voices a knight named Steve.
