The Costume Coop Crew
- Kelly (Kelly Vrooman) – Kelly is the friendly owner of the Costume Coop. This is a special store that sells all kinds of fun costumes.
- Chica (squeaks by Forrest Harding) – Chica is a lively chicken puppet. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Chica often gets into little problems in the live-action parts of the show. Kelly then helps her learn an important lesson. This lesson is then shown in the cartoon part. Did you know "Chica" means "girl" or "small" in Spanish?

- Stitches (voiced by Mario Lopez) – Stitches looks like a rag doll. He is a display in the Costume Coop's window.
- Mr. C – Mr. C is a rooster. He is Chica's dad.
- Mrs. C (Jennifer Barnhart) – Mrs. C is a hen. She is Chica's mom. She often stars in plays at the Coop.
- Jett (Christopher Brasfield) – Jett is a super-fast delivery person. He's as quick as a jet plane!
How the Show Works
Each episode of The Chica Show follows a fun pattern. It helps kids learn important lessons.
Daily Adventures at the Coop
In every episode, Kelly, Chica, Mr. C, and Mrs. C help a customer at the Costume Coop. They try to find just the right costume for them. Sometimes, things don't go as planned because of Chica. When this happens, Kelly helps Chica understand a new lesson.
From Live-Action to Cartoon Fun
After the customer leaves, a special cuckoo clock goes off. It looks just like Mr. C! Kelly tells Chica it's time to close the Coop, but they decide to have more fun. Mr. and Mrs. C then lock up the store while singing a song.
Next, two eggs with legs hop out of the cuckoo clock. Then, Kelly, Chica, Stitches, and Bunji magically turn into cartoon characters! Kelly says, "Time to dress up and play!" This starts the animated part of the show. The cartoon story shows the lesson Chica just learned in a fun way. After the cartoon, Chica and Kelly quickly get ready and leave the Coop.
