The Greenhouse (Hebrew: החממה, Ha-Hamama) is an exciting Israeli TV show. It was created by Giora Chamizer. The series first aired in Israel in 2012. Later, it was shown on Nickelodeon UK in 2013. You might know its English version, Greenhouse Academy, which came out on Netflix in 2017.

About The Greenhouse School

The story takes place at "The Greenhouse," a special school for talented students. It's located near the Sea of Galilee in Israel. The school aims to teach young people how to become great leaders.

Students at The Greenhouse are divided into two groups:

  • The Ravens Club: These students focus on academics, learning, and music. They are known for being smart.
  • The Eagles Club: This group is all about sports. Their main interest is basketball, with boys playing and girls cheering.

Adventures in The Greenhouse Series

The series follows the students as they uncover mysteries and face big challenges. They also experience new friendships and personal growth.

Season 1: The First Mystery

Episodes 1–50

Two siblings, Alfi and Ella-Lee Reshef, join The Greenhouse. Their parents, Guri and Naomi Reshef, were famous. Naomi was the first Israeli astronaut, but she was lost in a space accident.

The school is run by Louis Klein and his son, Robbie. Soon, the students notice strange things happening. They discover a secret plot hidden behind the school's peaceful look.

Two people, Judy Goren and Zeev Neeman, are behind the plot. Judy is the mother of Daniel, the Eagles Club captain. Zeev works for a mysterious person called 'the client'.

The students form a group called the "Galapagos" gang. They work together to stop Zeev and Judy's plans. They also deal with their own personal challenges and new crushes.

At the end of the season, a big surprise is revealed: Naomi Reshef, Alfi and Ella-Lee's mother, is alive! She was saved by Marcus, who worked with Zeev and Judy. Marcus later sacrifices himself to stop their evil plan.

Zeev tries to blow up the Greenhouse with a bomb. But Daniel and Yiftach, the Ravens Club captain, manage to stop it. Judy and Eric, who helped them, are sent to prison. Robbie Klein also goes to jail for stealing a satellite. Zeev is stopped by Nicole, the client's helper. The Reshef family finally returns home.

Season 2: The Magnetite Plot

Episodes 51–100

After stopping the first plot, life at The Greenhouse seems to return to normal. Sefi Shahal becomes the new prime minister. Sefi, who was once expelled from The Greenhouse, tries to remove Louis from leading the school. Naomi Reshef takes over as the new head of the school.

Meanwhile, the mysterious 'client' causes a distraction to replace a special material called magnetite. Orna, who was involved, is hypnotized by the client.

Ella-Lee hears strange beeps from Ruby's room. She remembers hearing them in a secret cave. She and Yiftach work together to get Judy's fingerprints, which can open the cave. Natalie, Louis's daughter, and Daniel help them.

They find a hidden control room in Ruby's room that opens the cave. Ella-Lee and Yiftach enter the cave. They don't know that the magnetite inside the cave carries a dangerous virus. This virus was created when Zeev and Judy tried to cause an earthquake in Season 1.

The client plans to spread this virus at a peace conference with world leaders. The Greenhouse students realize what's happening. They try to stop the client's dangerous plan. They also face new personal challenges and relationships.

In the end, the students successfully stop the client's plot. It turns out the client is Ruby's secret personality! Ruby escapes, and life at The Greenhouse goes back to normal.

Season 3: The Icarus Bombs

Episodes 101–175

Season 3 begins with the discovery of a new, dangerous bomb called "Icarus." A scientist named Dr. Ralph Eisenberg created it.

The first part of the season focuses on the relationship between Israel and Nubia, an Arab country. Nubia's leader, Bassem al-Sharif, is killed by his brother, Rafik. Rafik takes over Nubia and threatens Israel with the Icarus bomb he got from Eisenberg.

Ella-Lee, Daniel, his father Naftali, and Omar al-Sharif break into Nubia Palace. They defeat Rafik, and Omar becomes the new king. It's revealed that Eisenberg is working for Ruby, and there are 40 more Icarus bombs! Yiftach joins a space agency project but leaves later. Ella-Lee stays in the project.

In the second half of Season 3, Eisenberg is poisoned, and 16 Icarus bombs are stolen. It seems Ruby is responsible. But then, it's revealed that Zeev, who everyone thought was gone, is actually controlling Ruby! He escaped death in Season 1.

Zeev tries to use an Icarus bomb on a plane carrying Sefi Shahal and Omar al-Sharif. He wants to start a big war, but he fails. Zeev is arrested but then released. He goes to Switzerland in exchange for all the stolen Icarus bombs.

Later, it's discovered that Zeev had plastic surgery to look like Sefi. He returns to Israel, replaces Sefi, and locks the real Sefi away. Zeev, pretending to be Sefi, wants Ella-Lee to fly into space on a shuttle called "Naomi Reshef." His plan is to blow up the shuttle with Icarus bombs. He wants to blame Omar and create conflict between Israel and Nubia.

The Galapagos gang discovers this terrible plot. They do everything they can to stop it. The real Sefi is freed, and Daniel stops Zeev. Ella-Lee gets on the shuttle to launch it safely away. She manages to escape just before it flies off.

The series ends with the Ravens and Eagles Clubs attending their graduation ceremony. They finish their final year at The Greenhouse.
