What the Story Is About
The Hunting of the Snark tells the exciting story of a group of characters who set off on a sea journey. Their big goal is to find a mysterious creature called "The Snark." What exactly is a Snark? Well, it's different for each person searching for it!
One of the characters, The Baker, has a special warning from his uncle. His uncle told him, "If your Snark turns out to be a Boojum, you will softly and suddenly vanish away, and never be met with again!" As the journey continues, the characters get to know each other, and sometimes they even get into arguments. The Baker's biggest fear, vanishing because of a Boojum, might just come true.

The musical is divided into two main parts, called acts, just like a play. Each act has many different songs and scenes that move the story forward.
