The Prince of Atlantis is an exciting British animated TV show made for kids. It combines traditional drawings with cool computer graphics (CGI) to tell the story of amazing underwater creatures who work together to keep the oceans safe. This fantasy adventure series first aired in 1997 and has 26 episodes.
About the Story: Protecting the Ocean
The show takes you deep into the ocean, right into the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. Here, you'll find a beautiful, hidden city built by the legendary people of Atlantis. The only person living there is a young boy named Akata, who is the very last Atlantean prince.
Akata's city holds incredible secrets. It's filled with all the knowledge, advanced technology, and amazing powers that the Atlanteans gathered over 5,000 years! But this ancient city is in danger. Modern humans are exploring the ocean depths with powerful machines, trying to find its riches.
Akata has a huge responsibility: he must protect the Atlantean heritage. He gets help from a hologram of his wise teacher, Shum, and a special mermaid named Oya, who looks like a ray. Together, they must stop the powerful "Blue Ray" from falling into the wrong hands.
