The Secret of Pirates' Hill is an exciting mystery book. It's the 36th story in the original The Hardy Boys series. These books were published by Grosset & Dunlap. John Almquist wrote this particular book in 1956 for the Stratemeyer Syndicate. Did you know that many Hardy Boys books were updated later? This book was shortened in 1972. This means there are two slightly different versions of the story, but they both have the same title!
The Exciting Story
In The Secret of Pirates' Hill, the famous Hardy brothers, Frank and Joe, get a new case. A mysterious businessman hires them. He wants them to find an old Spanish cannon.

Eventually, they find the old cannon. They also discover thousands of dollars in gold. It's a thrilling adventure for the Hardy Boys!
