Thom Allison is a talented Canadian actor, singer, and director. He is widely recognized for his role as Pree in the TV show Killjoys. For this role, he won a special award called the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

About Thom Allison
Thom Allison was born and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His father was from Black Nova Scotian heritage, and his mother was from a Mennonite background.
His Journey in Acting
Thom Allison studied acting at the Ryerson Theatre School. He started his acting career in the early 1990s. Since then, he has acted in movies, television shows, and many plays on stage.
Stage Performances
Thom is mostly known for his work in theatre. He became well-known for playing Robin Turner in a play called Outrageous! in 2000. For this role, he was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award, which is a big award for theatre in Canada. He has also performed often at famous theatre festivals like the Shaw Festival and the Stratford Festival. He has been in touring shows of popular musicals like Rent and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. You might also have seen him as the character Therese in an episode of Kim's Convenience.
In 2003, Thom Allison released his own music CD called A Whole Lotta Sunshine. It featured his versions of famous songs like "Moon River" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
In 2019, Thom worked with another artist, Micah Barnes, on a stage show called Knishes 'n Grits. This show explored how Jewish music and African American music are connected.

Thom Allison won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. This was for his role as Pree in the TV show Killjoys. He also received two Tyrone Guthrie Awards from the Stratford Festival Company.
