Three's Company was a popular American situation comedy (a funny TV show). It was shown on the ABC network. The show started in March 1977 and finished in September 1984.
It was based on a British TV show called Man About the House. The story takes place in Santa Monica, California. It's about three young friends who share an apartment. One of them, a man, has to pretend to be something he's not so their landlord will let him stay. The friends often face funny problems, like trying to pay their rent. The show was known for its silly misunderstandings and funny situations.
Three's Company was so popular that it led to two spin-off shows: The Ropers and Three's a Crowd. Later, a TV movie called Behind the Camera: the Unauthorized Story of Three's Company was made. It told the story of the show behind the scenes.
