A Local Legend

There is a special story about how the Three Sisters mountain came to be. Long ago, a young Indigenous chief could not decide which of three girls he wanted to marry. Because he could not choose, he was turned into Mount Proctor.

The three maidens were very sad about this. They prayed to be turned into mountains too. Their wish came true, and they became the Three Sisters. This legend tells a beautiful tale of love and nature.
