Bitter Spring: A Desert Oasis

Even in the desert, there are small wonders. The Tiefort Mountains can be seen from the west. From that view, you might also spot a tiny stream of water. This water comes from a place called Bitter Spring. This spring is very important in the desert. It is protected from military activities at Fort Irwin. A fence about half a square mile surrounds it. This helps keep the spring safe and undisturbed.
