Timur Ramilevich Faizutdinov (Russian: Тимур Рамилевич Файзутдинов; 6 October 2001 – 16 March 2021) was a talented young ice hockey player from Russia. He played as a defenceman for HC Dinamo Saint Petersburg. At the time of his death, he was the team captain.

A Young Hockey Career
Timur Faizutdinov was born on 6 October 2001. He grew up in Chelyabinsk, Russia. He loved ice hockey and became a professional player. He played as a defenceman, which is a player who helps protect the team's goal. He started his career in 2017. Timur was a dedicated player. He eventually became the captain of his team, HC Dinamo Saint Petersburg.
Tragic Accident on the Ice
On 12 March 2021, Timur was playing in an important game. It was a final 16 match of the Kharlamov Cup. His team was playing against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in Yaroslavl, Russia. During the game, a hockey puck hit Timur in the head. His father, Ramil, later shared that the puck hit him near a major artery in his neck.
Hospitalization and Passing
After being hit, Timur was in very serious condition. He was taken to the hospital right away. Doctors worked hard to help him. Sadly, Timur Faizutdinov passed away on 16 March 2021. He was only 19 years old.
Remembering Timur
After Timur's death, his team, HC Dinamo Saint Petersburg, made an announcement. They said that their upcoming games would start with a minute of silence. This was to honor Timur and remember him. His passing was a very sad event for the hockey community.
