Tobias Linderoth is a Swedish football manager and a former player. He was born on April 21, 1979. He is currently the manager for the Swedish club Varbergs BoIS. Tobias played as a midfielder during his career. He played professionally in Sweden, Norway, England, Denmark, and Turkey. He had to stop playing in 2010 because of injuries.
Tobias was also a very important player for the Swedish national team. He played 76 games for his country between 1999 and 2008. He represented Sweden in two FIFA World Cups (in 2002 and 2006) and two UEFA European Championships (in 2004 and 2008).

Playing Career Highlights
Tobias Linderoth started his professional career in Sweden. He played for clubs like IFK Hässleholm and IF Elfsborg. After that, he moved to Norway to play for Stabæk.
Time in England and Denmark
In 2001, Tobias joined Everton, a club in England. His time there was affected by injuries. He scored one goal for Everton in a League Cup match.
In the summer of 2004, he moved to Copenhagen in Denmark. This was a very successful period for him. He played regularly for three seasons and became the team captain. Under his leadership, Copenhagen won two Danish championships. They also made it to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, which is a big achievement for any club.
Moving to Turkey and Retirement

International Matches for Sweden
Tobias Linderoth was a key player in the midfield for the Swedish national team. He was also the assistant captain. He played for Sweden in major tournaments like the Euro 2004 and Euro 2008. He also played in the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups.
He was known for his incredible work rate. In one game at the 2002 World Cup, he ran about 14.6 kilometers (about 9 miles) during the 96 minutes of the match. This showed how hard he worked on the field.
On May 26, 2008, Tobias scored his second goal for Sweden. It was the only goal in a 1–0 win against Slovenia in a friendly game before Euro 2008.
His last game for Sweden was on September 6, 2008. It was a World Cup qualification game against Albania. He got injured early in the match and had to leave the field.
Coaching Career
After he stopped playing football, Tobias Linderoth started his coaching career. He spent ten years working as a manager for the youth academy at Elfsborg, one of his former clubs.
On November 18, 2020, Tobias was named the manager of Skövde AIK. He managed them until 2023. In 2024, he became the manager of Varbergs BoIS.

Tobias Linderoth's father is Anders Linderoth, who was also a professional football player and coach. Anders played for the Swedish national team in the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Tobias was born in France because his father was playing for Marseille at that time.
Tobias and his wife, Maria, became parents on October 25, 2006, when their first child was born.
