Thomas Edward Henderson (born January 26, 1952) is a former American professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Tom was born in Newberry, South Carolina.

He was a talented guard who played college basketball at the University of Hawaii. Tom was chosen by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the 1974 NBA draft. He had a great nine-year career in the NBA, from 1974 to 1983.

Tom Henderson played for three different teams during his NBA career. He started with the Atlanta Hawks. Later, he played for the Washington Bullets. His last team was the Houston Rockets.
