Tomoaki Komorida (小森田 友明, Komorida Tomoaki, born July 10, 1981) is a former Japanese football player. He was known for playing as a defender and a Midfielder.

Tomoaki Komorida: A Football Journey

Tomoaki Komorida was born in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, on July 10, 1981. He grew up loving football and played throughout his school years. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career.

Starting His Professional Career

In 2000, Tomoaki joined Avispa Fukuoka, a team in the top Japanese football league, the J1 League. He made his first appearance in 2001. However, he didn't play many games, and his team moved down to the second league, the J2 League, at the end of that year.

In 2002, Tomoaki moved to another J2 League team, Oita Trinita. This was a great move for him! He became a regular player, often playing as a defensive midfielder. His team, Oita Trinita, even won the J2 League championship in 2002. This win meant they were promoted back to the J1 League in 2003. Tomoaki continued to play many matches for them until 2005.

Moving to New Teams

Later in 2005, Tomoaki joined Montedio Yamagata, another team in the J2 League. In 2006, he moved to Vissel Kobe, also in the J2 League. He started as a regular player there, but over time, he played fewer games.

In 2007, Tomoaki decided to play closer to his hometown. He joined Rosso Kumamoto (which later became Roasso Kumamoto), a team in the Japan Football League. He was a key player for them, and the team was promoted to the J2 League in 2008. He continued to play many games for Roasso Kumamoto.

Playing Abroad and Retirement

In 2010, Tomoaki tried playing football in another country. He moved to Indonesia and joined a team called Persela Lamongan. He played 10 games for them.

In July 2010, Tomoaki returned to Japan. He joined Giravanz Kitakyushu, a team in the J2 League. He played often as a defensive midfielder and also as a center back. Tomoaki Komorida continued playing for Giravanz Kitakyushu until 2012, when he decided to retire from professional football.
