Tomohiko Ikoma's Football Journey

Tomohiko Ikoma was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on August 25, 1932. He loved football from a young age. He became a professional player and later a coach.

Playing for Clubs

While studying at Kwansei Gakuin University, Ikoma was part of a special team. This team was called All Kwangaku. It included players from his university and graduates. They were very successful.

Ikoma helped his team win the Emperor's Cup twice. They won in 1953 and again in 1955. This was a big achievement for him.

After finishing university, Ikoma joined Mitsubishi Motors in 1955. He played for this club until 1966. In 1965, a new league called the Japan Soccer League started. Ikoma was part of the team, but he did not play in any league games. He retired from playing football in 1966.
