Michael Anthony Bell II, known to many as Tone Bell, is a funny American stand-up comedian and actor. He has starred in many TV shows and movies.

Tone Bell's Early Life
Tone Bell was born in Decatur, Georgia. Before becoming a famous comedian, he used to teach first grade! He also worked behind the scenes on a movie called Warm Springs for HBO.
Later, Bell worked as a brand manager in San Francisco. After a year, he moved back to Atlanta. He then got a job promoting a beer company. This job took him to Dallas, where he started trying out his comedy at open-mic nights in comedy clubs. This is where his journey into comedy really began!
Tone Bell's Comedy and Acting Career
After moving to Los Angeles, Tone Bell won a big competition called the NBC Stand Up For Diversity Talent Search in 2012. This win helped him get a special deal with NBC to develop new projects.
He soon landed roles in popular TV shows. He played "RJ" the bartender in the NBC sitcom Whitney. Later, he was "Tedward" in NBC's Bad Judge. Tone Bell also appeared in other TV shows like VH1's Single Ladies and Comedy Central's Key & Peele. He even hosted a hidden camera show on MTV called Jerks with Cameras.
Tone Bell also created a web series called The Green Room. You can find it on Russell Simmons' YouTube channel, All Def Digital.
In 2018, Bell got a main role in the CBS comedy pilot Fam. Before that, he was in the Netflix comedy Disjointed.
More recently, Tone Bell became the host of the new Netflix reality show Drink Masters, which started in October 2022. He also stars as Khalil in the 2023 Netflix comedy series Survival of the Thickest. This show was written by the talented Michelle Buteau.
