Where is Tonto Village Located?
Tonto Village is found in the northern part of Gila County. It sits in a valley called Thompson Draw, which is south of the Mogollon Rim. The Mogollon Rim is a large cliff that stretches across Arizona.
The village is about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Arizona State Route 260. This road can take you southwest about 15 miles (24 km) to a larger town called Payson.

What's in Tonto Village?
Tonto Village has a few local spots. You can find a restaurant there called the Double D Bar & Grill. The Hellsgate Fire Department Station 22 also moved to a new spot nearby. This fire station now has the only cell phone tower in the village.
There used to be a charter school and a church, but they have since closed. A road called Fire Control runs through the village. This road is the only way to get to the Diamond Point Fire Tower.
