Anthony T. Jordan (born May 8, 1965) is a former professional football player. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Phoenix Cardinals for two seasons. The Cardinals chose him in the fifth round of the 1988 NFL draft after he played college football at Kansas State University.

Anthony T. Jordan was born on May 8, 1965, in Rochester, New York. He went to East High School in Rochester.
Playing for the Kansas State Wildcats
Jordan was a key player for the Kansas State Wildcats at Kansas State University. He played for four years, from 1984 to 1987.
In 1984, as a freshman, he ran for 131 yards and scored one touchdown. He also caught two passes. The next year, in 1985, he ran for 32 yards and scored another touchdown. He also caught six passes.
His best college season was in 1986. He ran for 738 yards and scored six touchdowns. He also caught 15 passes for 196 yards and one touchdown. That year, he led the Big Eight Conference in total yards gained. Because of his great performance, he was named second-team All-Big Eight. In his final year, 1987, he ran for 692 yards and scored one touchdown. He also caught 23 passes.
Tony Jordan's Professional Football Career
The Phoenix Cardinals picked Tony Jordan in the fifth round of the 1988 NFL draft. He was the 132nd player chosen overall. He officially joined the team on July 7, 1988.
Time with the Phoenix Cardinals
During the 1988 season, Jordan played in nine games for the Cardinals. He started two of those games. He ran for 160 yards and scored three touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 24 yards. In November 1988, he was placed on injured reserve.
In 1989, he played in 13 games and started eight. He ran for 211 yards and scored two touchdowns. He also caught six passes. After that season, he became a free agent but re-signed with the Cardinals in August 1990. He was later released by the team in September 1990.
Other NFL Teams
After leaving the Cardinals, Jordan signed with the Houston Oilers on April 1, 1991. However, he was released by the Oilers in September 1991.
He then signed with the Dallas Cowboys on June 13, 1992. But he was released by the Cowboys in August 1992.
