Anthony C. Paige, born on September 11, 1953, is an American radio host and boxing commentator. Based in New York City, Tony Paige was a popular overnight host for WFAN radio. He hosted shows on WFAN from 1995 until his retirement on September 14, 2019.

Growing Up
Tony Paige was born in the South Bronx area of New York City. He lived in a place called the Forest Projects. Tony went to Taft High School. After high school, he studied at the City College of New York and Florida A&M University.
His Career in Radio
Tony Paige started working at WFAN, a sports radio station, in 1995. He began by hosting one night a week. Soon, he started picking up more shifts whenever he could. He left WFAN for a short time in 2000. During that time, he worked for ESPN Radio New York.
Tony returned to WFAN in 2003 and stayed there for the rest of his career. He mostly worked the overnight shift. He holds the record for being the longest-serving overnight host at WFAN. Tony announced his retirement on June 4, 2019. His very last show was on September 14, 2019. He ended his final broadcast with an important message. He reminded everyone to never drink and drive, a message he often shared.
His Work in Boxing
Tony Paige is also a well-known boxing commentator. From 1993 to 1996, he was the president of the Boxing Writers Association of America. He was the first black person to hold this important position in the organization's history.
He works as a field producer for KOTV. This is a weekly boxing TV show based in London, England. KOTV is shown in 70 countries around the world. Tony has also worked as a boxing journalist for many TV networks. These include ESPN, ESPN2, Showtime, and MSG Network.
His Personal Life
Tony Paige lives in East Windsor Township, New Jersey. He lives there with his wife and his youngest son, Jaylen. Tony also has an older son named Dante. His brother, Tim Paige, is a computer engineer.
In 2018, Tony was diagnosed with cancer. He had surgery to remove a part of his left kidney. This caused him to take a short break from his radio show. Tony has said that his health was not the reason he decided to retire. He is a big fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team. Callers to his radio show often mentioned this fact.
