Tracy Cordell Jackson, born on April 21, 1959, is a former American professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA), which is the top professional basketball league in North America.

Early Basketball Days

Tracy Jackson grew up in Burtonsville, Maryland. He went to Paint Branch High School and quickly became a talented basketball player. In 1977, he was chosen for the very first McDonald's All-American team. This team features the best high school basketball players from across the country. He also played in the 1977 Capital Classic, another important game for top high school players.

College Career at Notre Dame

After high school, Tracy Jackson continued his basketball journey at the college level. He played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish team from 1977 to 1981. Playing for a well-known college team helped him develop his skills even further.

Playing in the NBA
