Kids Encyclopedia Facts

The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was an important agreement signed on March 3, 1918. It was made between the new Bolshevik government of Russia and a group of countries called the Central Powers. These countries included the German Empire, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire. This treaty was a big deal because it officially ended Russia's part in World War I.
