Trevon Nykee Bluiett, born on November 5, 1994, is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Limoges CSP in France's top basketball league, the LNB Pro A. Before becoming a pro, Trevon played college basketball for the Xavier Musketeers.

High School Basketball Star
Trevon Bluiett went to Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, Indiana. While there, he helped his team win three state championships in Indiana. Two of these titles were won alongside Yogi Ferrell, who later became a point guard for the LA Clippers. His last state championship was with Jaren Jackson Jr., whose father, Jaren Jackson, was an NBA champion.
Amazing High School Stats
Trevon scored an incredible 2,568 points during his high school career. This is the 6th highest score in Indiana high school history! In his final year, he averaged 35.7 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. He even scored 38 points in the 2014 2A state title game.
Trevon first planned to play for UCLA. This was partly because his old coach became an assistant there. However, he later changed his mind and chose to play for Xavier. He liked the chance to compete in the Big East Conference.
College Basketball Journey
Trevon Bluiett played college basketball for the Xavier Musketeers from 2014 to 2018. He quickly became an important player for the team.
Freshman Year Success
As a freshman, Trevon was the second-highest scorer for Xavier. He averaged 11.0 points per game. He was even named to the Big East All-Rookie Team. Early in the season, he was named Big East Rookie of the Week twice.
Sophomore Season Improvements
Before his sophomore year, Trevon worked hard on his diet and fitness. He was named to a special watchlist for the Naismith Trophy, an award for the best college player. He was also chosen as a Third-team All-American by USA Today. After this season, he thought about joining the NBA draft but decided to return to Xavier.
Junior Year Highlights
In his junior year, Trevon had an amazing game against rivals Cincinnati. He scored 40 points in the 2017 Crosstown Shootout. He also tied a school record by making nine three-pointers in that game. This was the most points scored by a Xavier player since David West in 2003.
Reaching 2,000 Points
On January 24, 2018, Trevon reached a big milestone. He scored his 2,000th career point in college. He was only the fifth player in Xavier's history to achieve this!
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Trevon Bluiett began his professional basketball career. Even though he wasn't chosen in the 2018 NBA draft, he still got a chance to play.
Early Professional Years
Trevon first signed a Summer League deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. He then signed a special "two-way" contract with them. This meant he could play for both the Pelicans and their minor league team. He was sent to the Westchester Knicks and later to the Salt Lake City Stars. In February 2019, he had surgery for a thumb injury.
In December 2019, Trevon scored 29 points for the Salt Lake City Stars. He also made a career-high seven three-pointers in that game.
Playing Overseas
In August 2021, Trevon played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League. Later that year, he signed with Beşiktaş Icrypex in Turkey. He played there for a season, averaging 6.8 points per game.
In February 2022, he moved to Germany to play for Hamburg Towers. Then, in August 2022, he signed with MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza in Poland. In July 2023, he joined Victoria Libertas Pesaro in Italy.
Most recently, in August 2024, Trevon Bluiett signed with Limoges CSP in France. He continues to play professional basketball in Europe.
Personal Life
Trevon Bluiett's parents are Reynardo and Mariam Bluiett. He has three siblings: Ashtyn, Juwaan, and Brody. Both of his parents served in the United States Marine Corps. They even fought in Operation Desert Storm in the 1990s. They met while they were both in the Marines in the late 1980s. This happened at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
