Trinway is a small community in Ohio, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. It's also a census-designated place, which is a special area defined by the U.S. Census Bureau for collecting population data. Trinway is located in Muskingum County, in the east-central part of the state. It's about 52 miles east of Columbus, the state capital, and very close to the town of Dresden.

History of Trinway
The community of Trinway was originally called "Dresden Junction." This name was chosen because it was a very important meeting point for two different railroads. The Cincinnati and Muskingum Valley Railroad met the Stuebenville and Indiana Railroad here. This second railroad later became part of the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad. Dresden Junction was also the first place where people from the nearby village of Dresden could catch a train.

Trinway has several buildings that are special because of their history. These include:
- The old Trinway School, which was built way back in 1878.
- The Trinway Methodist Church, built in 1868, located at 12750 2nd Avenue.
- The Cochran Mansion, a large historic home built in 1862, found at 12635 Main Street.
- The Prospect Place Estate, another impressive historic building constructed in 1856, located at 12150 Main Street.

In 2010, a count of the population (called a census) showed that 365 people lived in Trinway. These people lived in 138 households, and 91 of these were families.
Most of the people in Trinway (97%) were White. A very small number were African American (0.3%), and some people (2.7%) were from two or more different backgrounds. About 0.3% of the population identified as Hispanic or Latino.
